Bolton v Southampton

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has the luxury of selecting from a fully-fit squad and will resist making wholesale changes unless fatigue proves a factor.

One change could see El-Hadji Diouf start after he scored at Charlton.

Southampton have doubts over midfielder Nigel Quashie, who has a knee injury, and centre back Andreas Jakobsson, who is struggling with a hip problem.

Matthew Oakley could step into midfield in place of Jamie Redknapp who may not be risked due to ongoing knee problems.

Bolton from: Jaaskelainen, Hunt, Ben Haim, N'Gotty, Candela, Gardner, Hierro, Giannakopoulos, Speed, Nolan, Okocha, Davies, Diouf, Pedersen, Campo, Poole, Jaidi, Fadiga.

Southampton from: Niemi; Telfer, Lundekvam, Jakobsson, Davenport, Bernard, Cranie, Delap, Nilsson, Quashie, A Svensson, Le Saux, Crouch, Phillips, Camara, Higginbotham, Oakley, Smith.

Middlesbrough v Fulham

Middlesbrough face a defensive crisis with Chris Riggott (ankle) and Stuart Parnaby (groin) struggling, but Ugo Ehiogu is available.

Goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is also out with a back injury, but midfielder Bolo Zenden has a chance of returning after shaking off an ankle problem.

Fulham are inching towards safety and have no fresh injury worries.

Midfielder Claus Jensen is available after suspension but Mark Pembridge could keep his starting place.

Middlesbrough from: Jones, Knight, Queudrue, Taylor, Cooper, Riggott, Southgate, Ehiogu, Wheater, Davies, Boateng, Parlour, Zenden, Downing, Doriva, Kennedy, Johnson, Hasselbaink, Nemeth, Graham.

Fulham from: Van der Sar, Bocanegra, Goma, Pearce, Knight, Rosenior, Malbranque, Clark, Cole, Jensen, Boa Morte, Pembridge, Volz, John, Radzinski, McBride, Crossley.

Burnley v QPR
Burnley boss Steve Cotterill is sweating on the fitness of skipper Frank Sinclair who has a calf injury that has kept him out for a fortnight.
Danny Coyne should keep his place in goal, with Brian Jensen named on the substitutes' bench.

QPR top scorer Paul Furlong is a major doubt after an apparent recurrence of a hamstring injury against Leeds United.

Jamie Cureton could start in attack with Kevin Gallen while defender Andrew Davies is available again after a ban.

Leicester v Cardiff
Leicester boss Craig Levein is expected to recall midfielder Stephen Hughes who is available after suspension.
Richard Stearman has recovered from ankle and cheekbone injuries, while Jordan Stewart is back from a dislocated shoulder and could feature.

Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence is expected to hand a start to midfielder Willie Boland.

But the Bluebirds have a fitness doubt over Neal Ardley, who picked up a knock in Saturday's 3-0 loss at Preston.

Stoke v West Ham
Stoke will miss a host of players, with Wayne Thomas the latest to join the long listof absentees after damaging his knee ligaments.
Midfield duo Toddi Gudjonsson and Kevin Harper could also miss out, while Gerry Taggart may play with a broken toe.

West Ham boss Alan Pardew could name an unchanged side with Matthew Etherington set to stay on the left-hand side.

Pardew must decide whether to stick with Nigel Reo-Coker in midfield or opt for the more defensive Hayden Mullins

Wrexham v Brentford
Relegation-threatened Wrexham will be without defender Steve Roberts who has damaged cruciate knee ligaments.
Veteran midfielder Scott Green is again set to miss out with a virus while Andy Dibble, Brian Carey and Jim Whitley are ruled out for the season.

Brentford have no new injury worries with captain Michael Dobson still sidelined nursing a fractured arm.

The trip to Wales is the game in hand the Bees have on their play-off rivals and they could climb into fourth place.

Macclesfield v Southend
Macclesfield are set to be boosted by the return of Graham Potter when they host promotion rivals Southend.
The left wing-back has recovered from an ankle knock and has been added to a squad with no other injury worries.

Southend midfielder Mark Bentley will miss the game through suspension, the first half of a two-match ban.

Long-term injury victims Jay Smith and Lewis Hunt remain on the sidelines, while keeper Bart Griemink has resumed training but is not fit enough to play. (BBC)
