Timberwolves are better than it was at the beginning of the season. They are 4-5 at home and 8-4 on the road. It really seems like they have more intensity on the road.

Kevin Garnett, Latrell Sprewell and Sam Cassell have carried the Wolves' so far from the season. Their Big Three have enough experience to use their skills in accordance to team interests. With Troy Hudson, Wally Szczerbiak and Michael Olowokandi nursing injuries, it appeared the best way for the Wolves to win is to keep the ball in the hands of Garnett, Cassell and Sprewell. In last 4-5 games Cassell and Sprewell have showed their best skills playing much better than in the beginning of the season.

Wizards have been poor lately. They have lost 6 out of last 7 games without having any chance to win in any of them. Their only win came against Milwaukee in overtime game. They are still missing their two top players — Gilbert Arenas and Jerry Stackhouse — because of injuries.

Washington has been lack of offensive opportunities lately. The problem for Wizard is that without Arenas or Stackhouse they don´t have a man who could take responsibility in crucial moments. Meanwhile the Wolves have plenty of clutch-time experience. With Cassell and Sprewell they have two experienced guys who aren't afraid to take big shots.

Another problem for Wizard is that neither Kwame Brown nor Christian Laettner has a chance of stopping Kevin Garnett so expect to see some serious match-up problems there. Minnesota Timberwolves has beaten the Wizards four consecutive times and when there's no Arenas or no Stackhouse, Washington will struggle again.
