Cincinnati lepuuttaa todennäköisesti starttereita ainakin jonkin verran ja Jets taistelee playoff-paikasta. Tämä tosin näkyy jo spreadissa. Molemmilla joukkueilla on hyvät puolustukset ja vähäpisteinen ottelu on odotettavissa, jolloin 10 pisteen ero on epätodennäköisempää.

JETS PUNTER HURTS HAMSTRING The Jets probably hope they will not need him much against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night, but punter Steve Weatherford injured his right hamstring in practice Friday, the final one before the Jets’ biggest game of the season. Coach Rex Ryan said Weatherford will be listed as questionable, and just to be cautious, the Jets will work out punters on Saturday. The weather probably will not help his comfort level: the forecast calls for temperatures in the teens at game time, with a wind chill near zero.
If Weatherford is hampered during the game, kicker Jay Feely is the emergency punter. In nine years in the N.F.L., Feely has never attempted a punt.
