Hampuri putosi Saksan cupista siis kolmosliigajoukkue Paderbornille vieraissa maalein 4-2! HSV:tä pudotin normaalilukemista kriisihengen syystä muutaman prosentin. IS Veikkaaja kertoi mm. että joukkueen pelaajat viihtyvät paremmin baareissa kuin harjoituksissa!
Bielefeld – Bochum
Kotijoukkue Bielefeldiltä puuttuu molemmat avauksen kärjet + yksi vaihtokärki!! Tämän on pakko näkyä jossain(=maalinteossa). Bochum pääsee peliin parhaalla kokoonpanollaan. Underin ja tasapelin todennäköisyydet kasvavat, ja lievä alkuperäinen kotisuosikki muuttui lieväksi altavastaajaksi minun papereissani.
Kaiserslautern – Stuttgart
Leverkusenilta puuttuu tärkeä toppari Jens Nowotny, joten joukkue siirtyy käyttämään laitapuolustajia kolmen topparin sijaan. Rangking-kakkonen kotonaan vastaan rangking-ykkönen, vaikka onkin itse Bayern München, on mulla kyllä Leverkusen kotisuosikki!
Schalke – Rostock
Hertha on selvästi parempana joukkueena yli 60% suosikki.
Dortmund – Hannover
Dortmund saa puolustuksen tukipilarinsa, Christian Wörnsin, takaisin kentille. Joukkue pääsee Hannover-otteluun toppari Metzelderiä lukuunottamatta parhaalla kokoonpanollaan. Vierasjoukkueen ainoa merkittävä poissaolo on laitahyökkääjä Mohammadau Idrissou. Hannover on pelannut vasta yhden ottelun, joten sen todellinen taso on vielä hämärän peitossa. Mun mielestä Hannover on alempaa keskikastia, ja ylemmän keskikastin Dortmund onkin mulla päälle 60% kotisuosikki.
Bremen – Wolfsburg

Last week was cup 1st round. I don’t pay too much attention to Cup results but for information’s sake the cup results are in brackets after each team
Suspensions :
Rehmer (Hertha)
Cacau (Stuttgart – BL’s leading scorer so far with 4 goals)
Grammozis (KL)
Engelhardt (KL) one game left of ban carried over from last season
Görlitz (Bayern)
Saturday
Kaiserslautern (won 15-0 at div IV side !!!) – Stuttgart (6-0 win at div V side).
South-west derby-ish encounter. KL looking poor so far apart from cup slaughter agst a non-league team which gave up. 1-2 at Schalke looks respectable but the home side should have finished off mediocre KL earlier. Stuttgart have done nothing wrong (4-2 v Mainz and 1-1 at Nürnberg) and have even afforded to bench Kuranyi and Lahm but no real tough opposition so far so let’s wait and see with them. Kuranyi will play here as Cacau is banned
Stuttgart: 1 Hildebrand - 2 Hinkel, 3 Stranzl, 6 Fernando Meira, 21 Lahm - 7 Meißner, 20 Soldo, 10 A. Hleb, 16 Heldt - 19 Szabics, 22 Kuranyi
Latest : the press are speculating in Germany that KL will get off the mark points wise but on what are they basing that ? A meaningless cup win ? Stuttgart deserve to be (slight) favourites especially as KL have two banned defenders.
Freiburg (4-0 win at div III side) – Gladbach (lost on pens at Bayern Reserves)
Amazingly Freiburg are unbeaten and haven’t conceded a goal so far this season. What a poor team though. They fluked their first away in the BL since 2001 with a 1-0 at Wolfsburg, scoring with their only meaningful chance. However, they won this fixture 4-1 last season and Gladbach are still reeling from an early cup exit. In their home debut in their new stadium v Dortmund, Gladbach played well and created loads of chances but lost 2-3 (Neuville had a goal disallowed).
Bielefeld (2-1 win at div IV side) – Bochum (3-1 win at div III side)
Two weeks ago Bielefeld had a free week and last week had a meaningless cup match so are fresh but possibly lacking in match practice. Bochum had the slightly better of things in the 2-2 draw with Leverkusen and look as compact as last year (so far)
Bochum: 1 van Duijnhoven - 5 Colding, 6 Kalla, 15 Knavs, 24 P. Bönig - 4 Maltritz, 8 Zdebel - 10 Wosz - 17 Preuß, 11 Lokvenc, 9 P. Madsen
Leverkusen (3-1 win at Mainz Reserves) – Bayern (6-0 at div V side)
The week’s big game. Leverkusen drew 2-2 in their last BL outing at Bochum and had a comfortable ride in the CL this midweek at Ostrava (lost 1-2) courtesy of their 5-0 first leg win. Bayern had a tougher than expected 2-2 home draw with Hertha where for the first time doubts were raised that they (Bayern) will not have things all their own way this season.
Stat; exactly symmetrical all time stats in this fixture 10-5-10
Leverkusen: Butt - T. Lucic, Juan, Roque Junior, Placente - B. Schneider, Ramelow, Krzynowek - Ponte - Franca, Berbatov –
Latest : Leverkusen trying to sign Bayern’s Schweinsteiger before the transfer deadline
Hertha (l-0 win at div IV side) – Mainz (5-2 win at div III side)
Hertha proved beyond doubt with the 2-2 at Bayern (4-4 on scoring chances and totally deserved point) that they have put last season’s horror show behind them. Marcelinho is relishing his free playmaking role and claims that he his is helped by extra freedom caused by teams having other players to worry about (Gilberto, an improved Bobic, etc) thus giving him extra room to manoeuvre. Despite a cup win following a victory over crisis torn Hamburg I (and everyone else) remain of the opinion that Mainz will struggle at this level. Starting with this match.
Stat : first meeting in the BL. In BL2 Hertha always on top : 4-2-0, 12 goals scored only one conceded
Mainz: 1 Wache - 18 Nikolic, 10 M. Friedrich, 26 Bodog, 17 Rose - 8 F. Gerber, 19 Babatz, 25 da Silva, 9 D. Weiland - 22 N. Weiland, 21 Casey
Latest : all things considered the most obvious looking home win in a set of dull betting games.
Hamburg (lost 2-4 at div III side) – Nürnberg (2-1 at div IV side)
Hamburg are without doubt in crisis and pressure is growing on coach Toppmöller. The last two games have been a disgrace. At Mainz two weeks ago they led at halftime 1-0 but it should have been two when Barbarez failed to connect with an unmarked Mpenza who had an open goal. In the second half, they allowed Mainz to come back for their first ever win in the BL. A week later they threw away a 2-0 lead at non-league Paderborn to lose 2-4. Nürnberg have done nothing wrong so far and are unbeaten. Don’t forget they created loads of chances on day one on their only BL away day so far at KL. Hamburg are a very uneasy favourite here.
Stat : only 4 wins in 23 visits here for the “Club” 16-3-4
Latest : out of Intertoto, out of the cup, no signs of new players yet with the transfer window about to close and rifts within the team (Barbarez v van Buyten for example), Hamburg should be opposed at the moment. Don’t know if Nürnberg have the tools to do that but Hamburg terrible value @ around 4/6
Schalke (2-0 win at Hertha Reserves) – Rostock (2-1 win at div III side)
Schalke have the most match practice in the BL of any team thanks to their Intertoto run which culminated in a 2-1 and 1-0 two legged final win over useful Czechs Slovan Liberec in the final. They are fit and although last year’s leading BL scorer Ailton is yet to get off the mark in the league he has been a regular Toto scorer. They will want to avenge Hansa’s surprise 1-0 win here last year. Rostock did nothing wrong in the first half versus Bremen two weeks ago but were taken apart in the 2nd half by the Champions and lost 0-4. They are yet to score in the league and this should be a win home.
Stat : poor travellers Hansa have a surprisingly good record at Schalke ; 5 defeat but also 5 games without defeat (3 wins and 2 draws)
Dortmund (1-0 win at div III side) – Hannover (3-0 win at div IV side)
Dortmund are nervously awaiting the end of the transfer window as they are not in a stable financial position to fend off any advances for some of their (few remaining) star players. Hannover, like Bielefeld, are lacking in competitive match practice having only played one serious game this season.
Stat : last year 6-2 despite Dortmund had loads of injuries at the time, H96’s only win here in 1988 (8-4-1)
Bremen (2-0 win at div III side) – Wolfsburg (see below)
Chaos at Wolfsburg ; defeat at home to the BL’s worst away team Freiburg, a win at non-league Köln Reserves in the cup which was then turned into a 0-3 defeat for fielding an ineligible player, the resignation of manager Peter Pander and playmaker d’Alessandro is still at the Olympics. Bremen are yet to concede a goal so far and are starting to look serious challengers again. Northern derby.
Bets on the favorite (-1) are winning if the favorite wins by at least two goals difference. If the favorite wins by exactly ONE goal difference, stake will be refunded with a 10% DEDUCTION (=odds of 0,9 - also applies in combination bets). In all other cases bets on the outsider (+1) are winning.

Kyllä, aika lailla saman 55% sain myös itse. Kiitoksia Zenmaster! 2% kassasta Bremenille.
