Sheffield Wednesday v Watford

Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner will be without Alan Quinn and Shefki Kuqi through international duty for the visit of FA Cup semi-finalists Watford.

Richard Evans, who was signed on non-contract terms from Birmingham, is likely to come in for Quinn, while midfielder Darryl Powell is ruled out with a hamstring injury, but Leigh Bromby could be back in contention after returning from a loan spell at Norwich.

Full-back Jon Beswetherick is banned after he was sent off during a loan spell with Second Division Swindon, while striker Grant Holt is available for Turner after completing a move from UniBond League side Barrow.

Michael Chopra will make his Watford debut after clinching a one-month loan move from Newcastle, with the Hornets missing three players through injury.

Striker Heidar Helguson pulled out of Iceland's international clash against Scotland with a thigh strain and misses out.

Danish midfielder Allan Nielsen has suffered a complication to his calf injury and remains sidelined, with Marcus Gayle also absent having injured his knee in the 2-1 defeat to Stoke City.
.........
Norwich City v Bradford City

Norwich City boss Nigel Worthington will be without four players as he prepares his side for the clash with Bradford at Carrow Road.

Paul McVeigh and David Healy are away on international duty with Northern Ireland, which could mean recalls for David Nielsen and Iwan Roberts.

Craig Fleming (ankle) and Phil Mulryne (hip) are both ruled out through injury.

Bradford boss Nicky Law includes new signings Laurens Ten Heuvel and Frazer McHugh in his squad.

Ten Heuvel has signed on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season, while 22-year-old defender McHugh has joined on a non-contract basis.

Jamie Lawrence joined Walsall late on transfer deadline day and Andy Gray is on international duty with Scotland, but Law has no new injury or suspension concerns.
.......
Gillingham v Ipswich

Gillingham have doubts over the fitness of three key players ahead of the home clash with Ipswich.

Rod Wallace has a tendon problem, while Tommy Johnson and Paul Shaw picked up knocks in the midweek draw with Sheffield United.

Player-boss Andy Hessenthaler struggling to be fit as he continues his recovery from a hamstring problem, and Mamady Sidibe is away on international duty with Mali.

Ipswich midfielder Tommy Miller will be pushing for a return to Town's starting line-up after two weeks out with a hamstring injur
--------------------------
Wigan v Plymouth

Tony Dinning is doubtful for Wigan's clash against Plymouth with a calf injury.

The Latics will definitely be without Peter Kennedy because of the injury which has sidelined him for three weeks.

Although Kennedy played 45 minutes for the reserves in midweek he will be unable to face the Pilgrims after being withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad because of the knee problem.

Steve McMillan is in contention after shaking off injury.

Plymouth have added new signing Kieran McAnespie and David Friio into the squad.

Graham Coughlan will be given as much time as possible to get over the side injury that forced him to be substituted in the win over Brentford.

Hasney Aljofree has already been pencilled in to start at centre-back again, while Grant Smith should be given another run-out.
.......
Tranmere Rovers v Chesterfield

On-loan Preston star Iain Anderson is set to make his Tranmere debut against Chesterfield at Prenton Park, although Jason Price is unlikely to feature due to the hamstring injury which kept him out of last weekend's defeat by Peterborough.

Stuart Barlow remains sidelined by a troublesome groin problem, while Alan Navarro continues his comeback from knee surgery.

Chesterfield make two enforced changes to their line-up as they prepare for the trip.

Defender Brian Close, who is on loan from Middlesbrough, is on international duty with Don Givens' Republic of Ireland squad, and Rob Edwards has suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

Jonathan Douglas, a pre-deadline day loan signing from Blackburn, will make his Spireites debut in place of Close.

Andy Rushbury, who came on as sub for Edwards early on in the 4-0 win over Wycombe last week, may start at Prenton Park.
.......
Oldham v Port Vale

Oldham have injury problems to address ahead of the clash with Port Vale at Boundary Park.

John Eyre has been struggling with a thigh injury and will not feature although Tony Carss is included in the 18-man squad after recovering from a knee problem.

Fitz Hall continues to have painkilling injections in his toe but should play, although Matty Appleby and Dean Holden are still out.

Chris Killen returns after shaking off an ankle injury but Julien Baudet's is out with a thigh strain.

Danny Boshell (ankle ligaments) is close to a return, but Carlo Corrazin is unavailable as he is on international duty with Canada.

Port Vale will be without Peter Clarke due to international commitments, while Steve Brooker is also set to miss out after suffering a groin strain against Cheltenham.

But Adrian Littlejohn will continue in attack having had his short-term contract with the club extended.
...........
Notts County v Huddersfield Town

Notts County goalkeeper Saul Deeney is expected to make his first league start against Huddersfield at Meadow Lane.

First-choice keeper Steve Mildenhall will miss the remainder of the season after suffering thumb ligament damage which requires surgery.

Darren Caskey has also been sidelined after a scan on his niggling ankle injury revealed ligament damage, Richard Holmes is another ruled out by an ankle ligament problem, while Ian Richardson and Ian Baraclough will undergo late fitness tests on their respective foot and Achilles tendon injuries.

Danny Allsopp continues to struggle with a hamstring problem, Simon Ramsden embarks on a two-game suspension, but Michael Brough could play some part against Huddersfield, despite being named in the Wales Under-21 squad to face Azerbaijan in Cardiff.

Caretaker boss Mel Machin must make changes to his Huddersfield side for the crucial trip, as he will be without left-back Kevin Sharp, who starts a two-match ban following his dismissal at Colchester.

Midfielder Kenny Irons is expected to go straight back into the starting line-up after serving a one-match suspension but Dwayne Mattis, Eddie Youds (both Achilles) and Simon Baldry (thigh) are all fitness doubts.
.......
Mansfield v Peterborough

Mansfield player-manager Keith Curle is set to return from suspension to face Peterborough at Field Mill.

Rhys Day will also line-up in the centre of the Mansfield defence, despite being named in the Wales Under-21 squad to face Azerbaijan.

Liam Lawrence is also expected to feature before embarking on a two-game suspension.

Goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington will be available for the bench after recovering from a punctured lung, while Colin Larkin's ongoing hamstring problems make him a doubt.

Peterborough's new loan signings Andre Boucaud and Tony Scully are both in line to make their debuts against United's relegation rivals.

Helgi Danielsson is on international duty with Iceland Under-21s, while Adam Newton is out for three weeks with an ankle injury.

Francis Green and Ryan Semple made their comebacks from knee trouble in the reserves this week, but neither will be considered
......
Crewe v Stockport

Crewe boss Dario Gradi will have to reshuffle his starting line-up for the home clash with Stockport.

David Vaughan and Paul Tierney are on international duty which means Stefan Oakes is likely to start in midfield.

But Gradi will assess the fitness of returning players Stephen Foster, Ben Rix and Rob Hulse before naming his side.

Stockport will be without Jim Goodwin and Jon Daly for the clash, although Gordon Greer has gone straight into the squad.

Goodwin and Daly miss out through international duty, while Greer has signed from Blackburn until the end of the season.

However, Peter Clark is expected to recover from the calf injury which forced him to miss training this week, and Kevin Ellison may return following ankle trouble, although he is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench if passed fit.
.....
Colchester United v Swindon Town

Ben May goes straight into the Colchester squad for the visit of Swindon after joining on loan from Millwall.

Manager Phil Parkinson will again be without the suspended Alan White, while Simon Brown remains sidelined by a groin injury. Adrian Coote is struggling to shake off a thigh problem sustained in training.

Simon Morgan is pushing for a starting berth after scoring a hat-trick for the reserves in midweek.

Watford defender Jerel Ifil is due to play his last game on loan for Swindon in the clash at Layer Road, but Robins boss Andy King is hopeful that he can extend Ifil's loan for a third month.

King looks certain to stick with the team that swept aside Notts County 5-0 at the County Ground last weekend, so that means on-loan Leicester player Junior Lewis will keep his place in midfield at the expense of Matt Hewlett
....
Bristol City v Barnsley

Bristol City's Danny Coles looks set to keep his place in the team for the home clash with Barnsley.

The defender was recalled to the side two games ago at Swindon because Mickey Bell had a virus.

Bell is now fully fit again after being on the bench at Huddersfield last Saturday, but Danny Wilson appears ready to stick with his new-look back four.

Lee Peacock is likely to lead the attack with Chris Roberts after Robins boss Danny Wilson failed with a bid to land Coventry striker Julian Joachim.

Mitch Ward has recovered from a shin injury and will captain Barnsley.

The midfielder missed last week's draw with Colchester, but has trained all week and is fit to take his place in the side.

Chris Lumsdon has been ruled out by a hamstring injury and Lee Crooks will also be missing after going down with an illness, while Mike Sheron has shaken off a calf problem and will travel to Ashton Gate
........
Brentford v Northampton Town

Brentford boss Wally Downes has added new signing Efan Ekoku to the squad for the Northampton clash after the 35-year-old joined on transfer deadline day.

Leo Roget and Stephen Evans should return after both players came through a reserve-team run-out this week - Roget is back after an ankle injury, while Evans has shaken off an Achilles injury.

Brentford will be without Mark McCammon, who signed for Millwall on transfer deadline day, and both Ibrahima Sonko and Kevin O'Connor are away on international duty.

New Northampton striker Tom Youngs should go straight into the first team squad for the trip following his £50,000 move from Cambridge.

Greg Lincoln is a doubt for the match as he struggles to shake off a hamstring strain - if Lincoln fails to make it in time he will join Daryl Burgess (hamstring) on the sidelines.

But there is better news for the struggling Cobblers with Richard Hope having overcome a groin injury and John Frain returning from compassionate leave.
......
Blackpool v QPR

Blackpool manager Steve McMahon has major injury problems ahead of the six-pointer against play-off-chasing rivals Queen's Park Rangers.

Keith Southern is out with a knee cartilage problem which may require surgery. He is set to see a specialist over the weekend.

John Murphy is a major doubt with a stomach problem and winger Ben Thornley is struggling with a hamstring worry, while Chris Clarke, Tommy Jaszczun and John O'Kane are all long-term absentees.

QPR new-boy Stephen Kelly comes in at right-back for the injured Terrell Forbes after sealing a one-month loan from Tottenham.

Matthew Rose is back in the squad after a freak ankle injury he suffered getting into his car, while Clarke Carlisle and Kevin McLeod have both recovered from minor hamstring injuries, but Tommy Williams will be out for at least two weeks after a scan on his ankle revealed ligament damage.

Dennis Oli and Ben Walshe are missing with knee injuries and Karl Connolly will see a specialist on the foot problem that has sidelined him since November, but Wes Daly (knee) and Chris Plummer (hamstring) played for the reserves this week and could rejoin the squad
---------------------
3-div
Darlington v Bury

Darlington's new loan signing Tom Newey should go straight into the first-team squad for the visit of Bury.

Newey has been brought in until the rest of the season from Leeds after completing a loan spell at Cambridge.

But Darlington will be without a trio of players with Barry Conlon starting a two-match ban, Danny Mellanby sitting out a one-game suspension and Ryan Valentine being on Wales Under-21 duty.

Bury welcome back Steve Redmond after he recovered from the ankle injury which kept him out of the midweek draw against Oxford.

Kevin Nugent and Paul O'Shaughnessy are available following illness, and Ian Lawson's ankle problem has healed sufficiently for him to come back into contention.

Jon Newby looks set to keep his place up front despite not having scored this year, while Pawel Abbott plays his last game before returning to Preston.
....
Lincoln City v Bristol Rovers

Lincoln boss Keith Alexander is likely to be without Chris Cornelly when his side host Bristol Rovers.

The winger was forced off with an ankle injury just after half-time in the 1-0 win over Kidderminster.

Dene Cropper and midfielder Chris Ward (both ankle) are still some way short of full fitness, and City still lack goalkeeping cover with Darren Horrigan (knee) ruled out for the rest of the season.

New signing Andy Rammell will go straight into the Bristol Rovers side.

The combative striker completed a deadline-day transfer from Wycombe and will be thrust into the goal-shy attack alongside either Paul Tait, Guiliano Grazioli or on-loan Norwich striker Chris Llewellyn.

On-loan Rochdale winger Lee Hodges will retain his place in the side, but will definitely miss the clash at Spotland on April 8 due to an agreement with Dale player-boss Paul Simpson.
......
Torquay v Boston United

Torquay United goal hero David Woozley is set to continue at centre-half for the home game against Boston.

Woozley, who has been covering at left-back, resumed his central defensive role in the 3-2 win at Shrewsbury, where he scored the stoppage-time winner.

United head coach Leroy Rosenior is hoping right-back Lee Canoville passes a late fitness test before the clash after he suffered a "knock" in the win at Shrewsbury.

Boston's Simon Rusk will miss the trip as the Pilgrims look to build on their two-match unbeaten run.

The midfielder pulled a hamstring in the draw against high-flying Rushden and is expected to be out for up to two weeks.

Rusk joins team-mates David Town (hamstring), Alex Higgins (thigh) and boss Neil Thompson (knee) on the sidelines
......
Macclesfield v Kidderminster

Colin Little and John Miles go straight into the Macclesfield squad for the visit of Kidderminster after joining on loan from Crewe.

Ben Abbey, the third striker to arrive at Moss Rose on transfer deadline day, may also feature following his move from Woking.

And there is more good news for manager Dave Moss in the form of Steve Macauley's return to fitness after a broken nose.

He may have to settle for a place on the bench, although new signing Matt Haddrell - an unused substitute against Oxford - could make his debut.

Michael Welch begins a two-match ban for being booked 10 times.

Kidderminster have two injury doubts. Lee Ayres and Dion Scott picked up knocks at Lincoln, Scott needing extensive treatment on a shoulder injury before Ayres was stretchered off with a gashed ankle.

Bo Henriksen and Dean Bennett have both recovered from hamstring strains and could be in line for recalls, while Scott Stamps is back from a groin problem.
......
Hartlepool United v Bournemouth

Hartlepool boss Mike Newell has no fresh injury or suspension concerns as he prepares for their home clash with Bournemouth.

The only selection poser for Newell is whether to hand Gordon Watson - out since September with a broken leg - a starting berth against the Cherries after his goalscoring performance for the reserves.

Bournemouth have two new signings available for the clash.

Scott McDonald has joined the club on a short-term deal after his contract at Southampton was cancelled by mutual consent.

Philip Gulliver arrived from Middlesbrough on transfer deadline day and is on loan with the club for the remainder of the season.

Jason Tindall missed the loss against Cambridge in midweek due to an ankle injury and remains a doubt.
......
York v Southend

York City's new loan signing Keith Graydon is available for the home clash with Southend after joining from Sunderland on transfer deadline day.

Lee Bullock is back in contention after a calf strain, but defender Tom Cowan is ruled out as he starts a two-match ban.

Jon Parkin has recovered from the stomach virus which caused him to lose six pounds in weight during the draw at Wrexham.

New Southend signings Gavin Strachan and Ronnie Henry will go straight into the first-team squad as temporary boss Stewart Robson takes charge of his first game.

One of Robson's first acts after the dismissal of Rob Newman was to invite former Coventry midfielder Strachan to join the Shrimpers until the end of the season, while Henry joins up from Spurs.

The new man at the helm will have to make do without Jay Smith, whose recent pelvic injury is looking increasingly like a long-term problem
..........
Cambridge United v Scunthorpe United

Cambridge manager John Taylor is keeping his cards close to his chest as his side prepare to entertain Scunthorpe.

Despite the Us taking seven points from their last three games, Taylor has promised to make "one or two changes" to the side that beat Bournemouth 2-1 last week as he looks to make a final push towards the play-offs.

Warren Goodhind, who gave everyone at the Abbey Stadium a transfer deadline day boost by penning a one-year extension to his contract, faces a late fitness test after straining his knee in last weekend's win over Carlisle.

Greg Strong will make his Scunthorpe debut at the Abbey Stadium.

Strong has joined the Iron on loan from Hull City as cover for Mark Jackson, who has been ruled out by a groin injury.

On-loan Blackpool midfielder Paul Dalglish will continue after impressing on his debut against Darlington.
..........
Rushden & Diamonds v Exeter City

Dean Holdsworth goes straight into the Rushden & Diamonds squad for the clash with Exeter after arriving from Coventry until the end of the season.

With no new injury concerns, Brian Talbot is not expected to make many changes to the side that drew with Rochdale on Monday night.

Paul Underwood will start after suffering no reaction to the groin strain which put his midweek participation in doubt.

Exeter are boosted by the return of Steve Flack, who rejoins the squad after sitting out the home win over Lincoln and draw with Rochdale through suspension.

Sean Devine (ankle) and defender Graeme Power (knee) are expected to pass fitness tests, but defender Santos Gaia (cheekbone) is still missing (Ananova)

Yksi peli englannin 1. divariin

Viesti Kirjoittaja Jari »

Sheffield Wednesday-Watford under 2,5 centrebet 1.80
Sheffield Wednesday-Watford tulos 0-0 kerroin: 9.50

Muilta toimistoilta voi löytyä parempiakin kertoimia, mutta itse on tyytyminen näihin...
