Nottingham Forrest - Norwich 1 (1,80) Centrebet 6/10
Nottingham rediscovered their offensive form midweek at home to Derby and picked up an easy 3-0 win. They used their three strikers again, Johnson, Harewood and Huckerby, with Harewood and Huckerby finding the net. On Saturday they have another home game, this time against Norwich, and I expect another win for Nottingham. What can Norwich offer against this goal hungry home side? Not much, I am afraid to say, but Norwich will try to frustrate Nottingham, that is for sure. I sense that Nottingham are over their short dip of form, and I expect them to continue where they left off the Derby match. A home win, and the price is 1.80. I must say that I preferred the 1.80 offered on the Nottingham win vs. Derby.
Coventry - Leicester 2 (2,20) Centrebet 6/10
Coventry are free falling, and it is difficult to see how they should be able to disturb the high flyers Leicester. Coventry have a terrible string of poor results, and it has become a habit for the club not to score (in their last 10 games they have failed to score in 7 of them) Leicester never lose, so there is some difference , is there not? Brian Deane is out for Leicester, but Benjamin will deputise, as he did in midweek against Burnley, and scored one of the goals. An away win for Leicester, and the price is 2.20.
Millwall – Sheffield Wednesday 2 (4,10) Centrebet 3/10
The mystery bug is still troubling the Millwall side and perhaps a desperate Sheffield Wednesday can take advantage on Saturday. The price on the away win is 4.40. S W need all the help that they can get, but they showed some class by drawing away to Bradford in midweek. Tony Crane was preferred to Kuqi up front and he took his chance by scoring the 1-1 equalizer for S W. It is difficult to foresee what kind of team Millwall will field, but bug or no bug, they have not been at their best lately. S W are fighting for survival, and they have picked up away points in their last 4 games. An away win is within reach, and the price is 4.40.
Preston - Portsmouth 1 (3,40) Expekt 3/10
In the first division in England I support Preston at home to the league leaders Portsmouth, and the price on the home win is 3.25. Both sides are hot, yes, Portsmouth have been hot all season long. Preston have scored 9 goals in their latest 2 home matches, and traditionally in the Black Country they are an overwhelming opponent. I remember that they gave Leicester no chance whatsoever in their league meeting at Preston. Of the remaining 8 matches I should think that Portsmouth will lose one or two - they can afford it - and I venture to say that this fixture away to Preston will be their trickiest task. I know of no major worries in either side. A home win, and the price is 3.25.
