Normally the Cup finale takes place at Salzburg, but when two clubs Vienna meet they will play at the Ernst Happel Stadium. The last duel is only 1 week ago. Austria Wien won 1:0 in front of 47.000 fans, but after the game Rapid got the Champions Cup.
Rapid Coach Hickersberger will miss 7 injured players. Kulovtis, Katzer, Hiden, Dosek, Valachovic, Hlinka and Burgstaller are injured. Lawaree is after a heavy foul doubtful. He says he is able to play with a mask but the last decision will come from the doctor. Striker Kienast isn’t allowed to play because he played for Altach in the ÖFB Cup. Nearly all strikers will miss the game. Ivanschitz, Martinez and Hofmann will play more offensive, but in the midfield they will miss Hlinka and his great passes.
Schinkels/Stöger are glad that Papac and Sionko are allowed to play. At the weekend there are national games and they got free from the national teams. For Austria it is the only chance to win a title this season. They didn’t lose the last 16 games in a row against Rapid Wien. (BetSpeliast)
